Request permanent deletion of your pharmacy account and data.

Account Deletion Request

In accordance with App Store guidelines and the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023, pharmacies can request the permanent deletion of their account and associated data. Requests are processed within 30 days.

What Gets Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:

  • Account Information: Your pharmacy name, email address, phone number, and business address
  • Business Documents: PCN license copies, CAC registration, and other KYC documents
  • Order History: Transaction records and order history (note: payment processors may retain their own records as required by law)
  • Communication History: Messages exchanged with patients through our platform
  • Inventory Data: Product listings, pricing information, and stock records
  • Preferences and Settings: Any saved preferences, notification settings, or customizations

What We May Retain

In compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, we may retain certain information even after account deletion:

  • Transaction records required for tax and accounting purposes (anonymized where possible)
  • Information necessary to comply with legal obligations or court orders
  • Data required to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements
  • Records required by pharmaceutical regulations for audit purposes

Before You Delete

Please consider the following before requesting account deletion:

  • This action is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, we cannot recover your data.
  • Any pending orders should be completed or cancelled before deletion.
  • Ensure all pending settlements have been processed to your bank account.
  • You will lose access to your transaction history and settlement reports.
  • You may re-register in the future, but your previous data will not be available.

How to Request Deletion

You can request account deletion through any of the following methods:

Option 1: In-App Request

Open the FillPrescript app → Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account → Follow the prompts to confirm deletion.

Option 2: Email Request

Send an email to hello@fillprescript.ng with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Please include:

  • Your registered pharmacy name
  • Your registered email address
  • Your registered phone number
  • Reason for deletion (optional)

Processing Timeline

Account deletion requests are processed as follows:

  • Verification: We will verify your identity within 2-3 business days
  • Settlement: Any pending settlements will be processed before deletion
  • Processing: Once verified, deletion will be completed within 30 days
  • Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation once your account has been deleted
